Description:

The successful candidate shall perform systems engineering and integration of capabilities within the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG)/User Access Services (UAS) system element. Responsibilities include: support of lifecycle project management; requirements analysis; architecture assessment; readiness and transition evaluations; schedule and risk assessment; and development of end-to-end integration strategies. The candidate will be an active participant in the following forums: NGA Security Vertical, Enterprise Security Working Group, and Enterprise Security IPTs.

 

Key activities include: providing subject matter expertise to the ASU PMO; facilitation and coordination of Identity and Access Management (IdAM); Cross Domain activities between the client and development contractors; meeting facilitation for technical exchange meetings (TEMs); risk identification and management; creation and review of Request for Changes (RFCs) to determine enterprise infrastructure impacts; and development of cost estimates/impacts as necessary.

 

The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills and will be required to develop requirements, generate project plans and related engineering documents, provide written weekly reports, prepare and deliver presentations, and record meeting minutes and action items in support of customer meetings.

 

Required:

  • Bachelors Degree in System Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 9 years experience in System Engineering
  • Demonstrated experience with Identity and Access Management (IdAM) and user authentication and authorization concepts
  • Demonstrated experience with portal technology integration and portal concepts
  • Demonstrated experience working with NGA systems and personnel
  • Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture principles, concepts, and disciplines
  • Knowledge of DoDAF Architecture Artifacts (i.e. SV-1 drawings)
  • Strong interpersonal, problem solving, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • TS/SCI security clearances

 

Desired:

  • Knowledge of Web-Based Infrastructure
  • Working knowledge of NGA Geospatial Information Management Services (GIMS)
  • Knowledge of the NGA organizations and associated programs
