Data Solutions Messaging Project Mgr /Technical Expert

Project Manager with an active TS SCI clearance for a Project Manager role on our DOD DIA SETA prime contract. The Department of Defense Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) Senior Engineering and Technical Advisors (SETA) contract provides the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) and the Intelligence Community (IC) with a full range of senior engineering and advisory services.  Invertix manages and performs work on more than 25 task orders supporting DIA and national missions. Under this contract, Invertix helps DIA mature the DoDIIS enterprise to enable getting “…the right information delivered at the right time in the right form” to armed forces and military leaders. Invertix provides the capabilities and expertise to support the Intelligence Community’s desire to create a cohesive Enterprise that supports both Defense and National priorities by horizontally integrating people, systems, and processes. The DoDIIS Enterprise sets the standards for a strategic, integrated system-of-systems for intelligence systems and applications interoperability The Data Solutions Messaging Project Manager/Technical Expert will perform the following project management and technical duties:

Project Management

*           Direct and oversee the activities of the technical team. Develop and maintain the program management plan. Deconflict, categorize, and prioritize the program’s projects, activities, work assignments, and issues.

*           Perform targeted engineering and programmatic support to include creating program plans, work breakdown structures, writing technical reports summarizing business and technical analyses.

*           Hold and manage weekly meetings, drive the program, determine program scope, “get out in front and lead.” Ensure that all technical, cost, and schedule objectives are met to be out in front to minimize performance risk.

Technical

*           Support the Data Solutions Division (DSS-3) mission to maintain awareness of new and emerging developments in data agility, access, visualization, manipulation, and storage as it creates and communicates standards and process to improve Defense Intelligence Data Architecture across the DoDIIS enterprise.

*           Serve as the data messaging subject matter expert.

*           Produce a Requirements Specification.

*           Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of Data Management, Data Architecture, and Data Services Enterprise Technology.

*           Provide subject matter expertise able to comprehend complex data engineering and integration issues that enable improved intelligence discovery, access and retrieval by DoDIIS and IC customers.

*           Provide data engineering and integration services to implement solutions that decouple service components into an service oriented architecture (SOA) that enables maximum flexibility and use.

Requirements: 

*           Experience in providing project management reporting is essential.

*           Experience in providing engineering and integration data architecture solutions for the intelligence community.

*           Experience with the following messaging systems:

            *           ITS

            *           Mystic SOA-based MS Access

            *           WISE

            *           M3 (Boeing product)

            *           Decision Agent

            *           SMART.NEXT (messaging front-end)

Have the following experience as it relates to Mystic:

            *           Front-end

            *           Testing

            *           Resolving Data Migration issues

            *           Oracle data set
